Placement is crucial for an effective outdoor mosquito trap

When should I activate my trap?

As soon as possible during the year – especially once temperatures go higher than 15C as this is when mosquitoes tend to become active. Don’t forget that the trap needs to run 24hours a day, 7 days a week to be effective.

Where should I place my outdoor mosquito trap?

In a warm (preferably humid) and shaded area near vegetation, as this is where mosquitoes rest during the day.
Sheltered from wind and direct sunlight, since mosquitoes are less active under these conditions.
More than 5 meters away from your terrace to prevent attracting mosquitoes into your personal living space.
On the ground, as mosquitoes tend to fly low. Don’t worry—Biogents traps are water-resistant!
